Each sunrise holds the promise of a new day, and conveying the hope of a fresh start through a sunrise photograph can be achieved with the right settings, location, timing, and practice. Doug and Bill travel to Oconoluftee Valley in North Carolina for a spectacular photo session with daybreak, experiencing the very feel of the mountains. In this session you will find ways on how to photograph the sunrise, how to capture the detail of the landscape in lower light, how to use the composition and how to select the most effective exposure and shutter speed settings. You will also see another usage of the graduated neutral-density filter.
