According to photographer Jim Zuckerman, the ideal conditions for shooting fall foliage is under light overcast. He takes us to a New Hampshire riverfront at the peak of autumn for a lesson in fall photo composition.

Jim chooses a wide-angle lens to compose the river surrounded by colorful trees, shooting various compositions with the river centered and off-center. You will learn how to recognize soft light, why cropping out the sky creates the best image composition, how to avoid camera vibration, and why a normal lens is a good alternative.

Follow professional photographer, Jim Zuckerman, as he captures outdoor New Hampshire and the blazing colors of fall.
