Mark Denney's journey into photography started in an unexpected way—visiting his grandmother while she worked in the camera department at the the local K-Mart. Back then, he had no formal education in photography, or even any ambitions of becoming a photographer. It wasn't until the birth of his children many years later that he acquired his first DSLR, a Canon Rebel XS. After several years of photographing his family, he set his camera aside until his passion for photography was eventually rekindled during a vacation eight years later. This prompted him to purchase a Nikon D3200. Over time, Mark found his niche in landscape photography and went on to feature his work in respected publications like Fstoppers, ShutterBug, Outdoor Photographer magazine. He has also become a brand ambassador for Nisi Optics USA and f-stop Gear. In addition to his photography, Mark shares his expertise through outdoor photography education, speaking engagements, landscape photography workshops, and post-processing instruction, extending his self-taught knowledge to fellow photography enthusiasts.
