    The Fakahatchee Strand is a forested river in the Florida Everglades. In this video, outdoor photographers, Doug Gardner and Jason Hahn, take you into the Strand for some fascinating nature photography

    Carrying their cameras on lightweight tripods, Doug and Jason slog through the shallow river, carefully weaving in and out of overhanging cypress trees. Along the way, they shoot images of alligators, unusual birds, colorful bugs, and tropical plants. You will learn that the best time to make photographs in a swamp or jungle is in bright, overcast light.
