Create Seamless Panoramas in Photoshop Two Ways
David JohnstonProbably the most beautiful example of outdoor photography is the sweeping panorama. In this premium video, Outdoor Photography Guide’s David Johnston shows you how to create a panorama photograph using several image files and merging them through post processing.
In Photoshop, David begins with ten of his overlapping images of a natural landscape in Iceland. Photographed in the exact same setting, he has created a panorama sequence. He opens them as layers in Photoshop. In auto blend layers, he selects panorama, and the software automatically blends all the layers. Result? Dramatic panorama image.
David shows you another way to create a panorama. After selecting the image files, he selects Edit-in and then Merge to Panorama in Photoshop. Under Layout, he chooses Auto, and Photoshop stitches the images together to create the wide horizontal panorama with perspective.
