In this session, you will learn tips for photographing birds, such as how to practice angle of view and shooting from interesting angles. Fort Desoto provides an excellent photography potential for the natural bird life here.

In Fort Desoto, the wildlife is used to humans in the area. While you are not advised to feed or interact with the wildlife, it is easy to snap incredible pictures of the local birds. Just make sure to practice caution when capturing images as some birds are easily startled.

Knowing how to move around your subject prevents startling the animals. This includes not walking in a direct path. The last thing you should ever be is in a hurry while snapping wildlife. An indirect, often arched path allows you to move where you need to be without frightening off the animals.
