Photography has so many avenues for photographers to photograph landscape people, portraits, odds, and ends. One of the ones is areas of photography that I think it is most commonly overlooked is the world of macro photography. And it's a whole different world in a lot of ways. It's like being a young kid again to where you come in and you explore the world that is right at your fingertips and photographically that's what we're doing. Today we're going to explore, an area of photography is one of my favorite macro photography.

When you are a photographer and you're especially if you're a storytelling photographer you tend to take things you know, you go this way you get that wide sense of place you come in and you get the portraits and then you get the details. Macros all about details. You get a chance to come in and see the top of a flower, part of a flower note the whole identifying feature for flower, the colors and close-ups of a caterpillars head the close-up of a coin. That's the beauty of macro it takes us place like a like a little kid getting back to where things are at their fingertips. And we get a chance to really explore that world that exists deep, deep, deep, deep way down.

And it's a lot of fun and we're going to shoot a lot of things today and you're going to enjoy where we are and I hope you'll go there to enjoy.
