OM System OM-1 Mark II
David JohnstonIn this sponsored video, Outdoor Photography Guide’s David Johnston visits a remote field and photographs hunting hawks. He carries his favorite outdoor photography camera, the compact OM System OM-1 Mark II.
He employs this camera because it is fast. With a large buffer speed, photos are captured quickly and written to the memory card. The camera shoots 120 frames per second, and David can capture the fastest hawk in the sky. Another benefit is the AI subject detection/autofocus feature. He sets the AI detection mode to “Bird,” causing the camera to focus on any bird within the frame.
Shooting with internal filters, the OM System OM-1 Mark II renders outside filters unnecessary. It can shoot in live focus stacking up to 15 photos, and can also make composites within the camera. The battery life is long, but David’s favorite feature is the durability.
