Hey everyone. I'm professional photographer Ian Plant and right now I'm exploring the Badlands of South Dakota with Tamron's 28 to 200 millimeter lens for Sony E-mount cameras. This all in one lens offers a blend of versatility and performance. This lens has a wide maximum aperture of F/2.8 at its widest focal length, 28 millimeters. And this is something that sets it apart from other lenses in its class, and makes it useful for low light and even nighttime photography. I'm really impressed with how this lens offers high quality performance across its entire zoom range. Optical performance is excellent. So that means I'm confident I'm always gonna get the high-quality professional results that I demand out of my lenses. This lens covers a focal range from 28 millimeters on the wide end all the way to 200 millimeters on the telephoto end. And this makes it an ideal choice for a lot of general photography subjects, including travel. Despite the high optical performance this lens is surprisingly small, compact, lightweight, and very portable, making it perfect for handheld shooting situations. So when I'm photographing the landscape I may have my wide angle lens set up as my primary composition and while I'm waiting for the light to be perfect for that shot if there's anything interesting going on, for example if there's some interesting light or weather event in the distance, like a rainbow or some fleeting light on a distant landscape feature I can handhold this lens on a separate camera body and just zoom in and get the shot that I want without disturbing my primary composition. Because of the versatile focal length range I can zoom in even on distant landscapes and intimate landscape features whenever I want. This lens has been incredibly useful for me here in the Badlands as I've had a lot of stormy weather and I've had some really interesting light and weather events like beautiful storm clouds building in the distance or rainbows, and because of the portability and versatility of this lens I haven't missed a single thing. And what's been helping me is the fact that this has got a very fast and responsive auto focus drive. I've also been using this lens to photograph the comet NEOWISE which has made an appearance during this trip. And it has given me the flexibility to experiment with a lot of different focal lengths. So I can capture the comet over some of the most dramatic parts of the park. When it comes to all-in-one zooms the innovative Tamron 28 to 200 millimeter lens for Sony E-mount cameras is in a class by itself. I've been really impressed with the performance of this tiny little lens, and I'm glad I had it with me. The flexibility it offers has allowed me to capture shots I otherwise would've missed. I'm Ian Plant and thanks for watching.
