Are you using Lightroom to its full advantage? In this premium video, Outdoor Photography Guide’s David Johnston explains why Lightroom tools work to your advantage in the Develop module.

With his image of a fern, David adjusts various Tone sliders including exposure and contrast, highlights and shadows. Next, he experiments with numerous Lightroom tools from the drop down windows. He works with more tools such as luminance, white balance, and target adjustments. Working with masks, he isolates the highlights and shadows.

This patient editing style slowly improves his photograph. David suggests that after you edit your image with Lightroom tools, you let a few days go by, and edit again, looking for subtle adjustments.
