A variety of animals find refuge in the Grand Teton National Park. In this video, pro wildlife photographer Doug Gardner and senior biologist wildlife guide Kevin Taylor take you to the home where the bison roam. To identify a bison from a distance, Kevin looks for the large hump rising out of the prairie grass. Doug captures portraits of a single bison, focusing on the magnificent 200 pound head. Later, in a valley of the Grand Teton Mountain Range, Doug shoots portraits of a bull elk, a chipmunk, a deer, and also beautiful scenics of the mountains in varying light patterns.
